They're involved every step of the way and their ideas and contributions are highly valued. This position is for the HP Sales Representative reporting to the Director of Sales.
Responsibilities
- Proficiently position and sell all of WDPI’s product and service offerings utilizing the Hardware Lifecycle Management (HLM) sales approach.
- Actively gain new accounts and maintain old accounts while attaining gross profit and margin goals.
- Utilize sales force automation, inventory management & ERP tools to facilitate and document sales processes.
- Maintain a minimum of 60-80 calls per day.
- Proficiently build customer relationships with WDPI.
- Actively participate in the cross-sale program.
- Develop new sales leads through trade network, technology publications, email marketing, etc.
- Develop new avenues to promote World Data Products. (trade shows, advertising, etc).
- Analyze customer territories and develop strategic sales plan to target top customer accounts.
- Monitor and track close rates on sales deals along with number of outstanding proposals monthly.
- Partner with Sales Brokers to maximize Inventory management levels.
- Actively participate in department meetings and participate in WDPI Best Practices.
Qualifications
- This position requires a sales-oriented individual with a hard work ethic and self-management principles.
- Must have the ability to interact effectively with customers and management to successfully integrate the customer to World Data.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 1+ year of previous sales, prospecting, or telemarketing experience
- Desire to grow your sales career
- Tenacious, aggressive attitude with the ability to facilitate the entire sales process
- Ability to grasp technical terminology and concepts
- Ability to make 60-80 cold calls per day minimum
- Ability to build customer relationships with WDPI
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to deliver effective presentations internal and external to the organization
- The potential candidate should provide relevant skills in business analysis, financial management, inventory management, and salesmanship.
